Cat drinks solution for eye contacts

Hi - I'm not sure if this is the right board to be asking this as she is not sick. But I would like to know if this will harm her. Every morinng my cat races in the bathroom and jumps up on the sink when she knows I am putting my contacts in. She licks the solution as it runs into the sink. Will this hurt her? Thank you!

Is it Saline you're talking about? I'm not totally sure, but I don't believe it is harmful. It's one of the reasons many prefer saline implants to silicone. If they leak, it will be absorbed by the body and not do harm.

You might want to call a vet just to make sure.

Haha, I thought I was the only one who had a cat who like contact lens solution. Puddles loves it and has managed to get a few licks in. It didn't hurt her at all.
