What do you mean by the dog is not emotionally well in general?

I know that slate is the top layer of rock that a quarry removes so they can begin to mine to "good" rock, so I am not sure if maybe it has a high salt content, and maybe your dog is licking for that?

my kitchen floor is human clean too but what a dog smells is so strong and he may be just getting the last of a good meal, my girl licks the linolium in the kitchen even after i have scrubbed it clean. dogs are just weird. and what is an emotionally unwell dog?? I knew of a woman up north that would do hypno therapy on dogs and tell you of their worries and past life experiences, did some one like that diagnose your emotionally unwell dog??

Maybe likes the coolness of the floor or what you are cleaning it with.
