Where have they gone??

Has anyone heard from Glasslass? she didn't even respond to her birthday post back in November What about Shamrock?
Have I missed any other missing members?

It's sad when members just disappear? I always wonder if they are okay, and just moved on (at least that's what I hope).

I feel the same way and wonder where they are. Mummummum is definitely missed as well. I also miss Ontario Greys as her posts were always very informative.

I agree - many of the long time posters have disappeared. The posters' mentioned certainly as well as others. The "flavour" of the board has changed I have found.

So if you had to put your finger on it (the "flavour" change)....what would you say has changed so much that they'd want to move on? I haven't been here as long as some of you, any idea's what it might be?

I don't know about snowdancer but IMO : weeks ago we kept getting new members who only came here to ask about BYB breeding questions..... and I find that some of the new members are not as concern as we are about our pets. that was my opinion.

It's too bad, I miss a lot of them. I agree lots of byb'ers for a while and a few others. Good thing is you don't have to talk to the people who bother you, but sometimes it's so hard to not get caught up in it.

I was thinking about Shamrock not too long ago wondering what happened to her. She hasn't been around for a long time.

I was wondering about...Angeldog...was that her name? When I first joined she had a dog that had bitten family members, she was working on it...and also, the lady with all the goldens and labs, 5 I think...I forget her name.

I forgot to keep checking the Mx3 thread, did anyone ever find anything out?

jiorgi - there being another forum is something that I am pretty sure of. Quite a few of the frequent posters disappeared around the same time.

Why? Does anyone know why there was a bunch gone at the same time? From what I can tell, within limits, we are free to speak our minds on here, we all go off on tangents, wonder if we shold have said that...etc...Or am I missing something?

there was a huge clique. When their "leader" left...they all followed...

and that's the end of that. If those people would've wanted to keep in touch, they would've. Good riddance

LOL, nothing like speaking you mind

Yes many people left for another forum, I don't know why (I'm never in the know ) but there was some bickering That forum was actually created after another big hoopla happened over here.......strange thing is, many of the recent joiners, were the ones having problems with the ones who originally created that forum!

I don't believe Glasslass or Shamrock went there though.

I kinda thought that was the case... this forum has been clique-y, that is true. I say, good riddance as well. I am staying. I like the format and the general views (pro-spay/neuter, etc). I've been to other forums and in fact have recognized others from this one, but haven't felt compelled to post in those forums. I don't expect us all to agree, and that is fine. Most of us, I feel, share similar views toward our pets or we wouldn't be here to begin with. Pets.ca rocks! I'm addicted... For those who don't agree, I hope can be converted.... we can at least try, right?
