Raw while on Antibiotics?
While i try to avoid antibiotics as much as possible occasionally one of my dogs need them and I am unsure whether it is safe to feed raw while they are on antibiotics. I don't know if it would make her more succeptible to the bacteria in raw meat. What do you think?

No, it shouldn't. I don't take my cats off raw when they have been on antibiotics and have had absolutely no problems.

I agree ~ shouldn't have any obvious effect. But, I would be adding some lactobacillus to her food if you are not already to reduce the possibility of yeast overgrowth (common side effect of antibiotics)

lactobacillus for yeast overgrowth, thank you I was unaware of that. I have probiotics that I was planning on starting her on, but I'll check if they contain that kind of bacteria, if not I'll pick up some that do... Thanks!
