NFL reinstated Mike Vick

I can't believe it, they actually reinstated Mike Vick to the NFL.
What a sad testiment to the dogs he brutalized, the dogs he killed, the example he set and if they think he wouldn't participate in it again I fear they are wrong, he'll just be more careful.
I will never watch another NFL game as long as I live, the only good thing, was his team told him they don't want him, so he has to look for another team.
Shame on the NFL:sad:

Well so far his former team, the Atlanta Falcons don't want him back and the New York Giants, Jets and Dallas Cowboys have said they have no interest in him either.

Let's hope the rest of the NFL follows suit.

I knew they would reinstate him. They don't call it the National Felon League for nothing.

I saw that too and was disgusted. That said, hopefully nobody will hire him. It's already been admitted that he will not earn his previous salary if he does find a team (10 years for 130 million - and who on earth is worth that), and nobody wants to use him for endorsements. So hopefully, if he does get on the field again (pray that he does not) he'll just be a pathetic bad example for the world. You know what they say "If you can't be a good example, you can always serve as a bad example." That's him in a nutshell. If anybody hears of a team wanting to look at him we need to start an e-mail campaign to dis him to bits. Let the owners know that the average fan doesn't want this moron playing.

AG - Yay. Mine is gone. Obviously he's already been reinstated, but I really felt the need to let Mr. Goodell know how disappointed I was. This man may be entitled to a second chance, but not in the spotlight of celebrity status. I truly hope that no team signs him and he has to learn some humility and struggle a bit. I have only contempt for him as a human being (Vick that is).

While I was saddened to read about Vick's reinstatement, even though it's "conditional", I wasn't surprised. The NFL is full of felons and IMO the talents of these people while on the field are the only thing the NFL is concerned about. They can talk the talk - but Goodell isn't walking the walk IMO. He talks about cleaning up the image of the NFL, but that's all it is.

It's sad, but I'm sure a team will pick him up. The chances of him helping them to make it to the superbowl will far outweigh the crimes he committed.

What really makes me mad is that the ASPCA is talking about using him to talk to young boys about dog-fighting. I might feel better about that if I thought he truly had realized how absolutely horrible the practice itself was, not to mention his personally killing dogs. But I don't believe that he has any remorse (other than getting caught) and I don't believe he truly sees anything wrong with dog-fighting in general, or his personal handling of those dogs. And I believe that the youngsters he would be talking to would pick up on his insincerity - like a kid that is being forced to apologize for something - the words might be there, but there won't be any feeling behind them. I hate that he's using the ASPCA to further his own goals of putting his football career back on track - and I hate that they are apparently just sucking it up.

Imagine all the booing he would get? I also think he won't be able to get any products to endorse. Nobody would buy the sneakers, clothing, etc. Be prepared to write some letters. He shouldn't be allowed within ten miles of an animal.
