Found Golden - urgent foster needed!!!

This dog, which I'm told is a female Golden, was found running loose in St.Lazare tonight.

The lady who found her cannot bring her in her home, so the dog needs a place to stay until her owners are located or she can be adopted.

I have a foster right now but he may be going to a new forever home today. Is this lady willing to turn this dog over to our rescue? If so, have her contact me.

She had to take the dog to the Valleyfield pound, on orders of the hubby.

Dog most likely will not come out of Valleyfield pound without some money changing hands. Would have been better to have sent the dog to Centre Canin du Suroit. Let me know if I can help somehow to get the dog released. They've transferred before to another pound.

thanks BMD. I"m just passing on what I'm told. Apparently this woman told Valleyfield not to kill the dog, but to call her if the owners do not claim it.

I was told about this late last night, and when I find out more today I"ll let you know!
