So tomorrow is the day we welcome New Kitty

anyone have any last minute advice about making him feel at home? I have the spare room set up with a bed for him (new blanket), a litter box, lots of new toys, and his own plates for food and water.
Yikes. its like bringing home a baby...again (Roland being the first, no people babies here just yet!) Its a little scary and Im SO excited!!!

like a kid before christmas. I may be asking for some name ideas in a while. Although I think my reluctant-to=have-a-second-cat boyfriend has some ideas in his head. I think Ive converted him

lol. I think its going to go swimmingly. I can hardly keep baby in the spare room. He wants out really badly. He came out of the carrier and went exploring alterternating with rubbing up against my lets and eating his treats. No problems there. Roland is doing very well. no hissing, just whirring under the door. He has now gone outside to lie in the sun. I dont think this will take long. I have some 'in the first hour pictures.

Thanks Rainbow. I really dont think its going to be long. Baby has found himself a bed in the cupboard in between the blankets, Rolands new spot is outside the door whirring. more photos to follow...

not yet. His official adoption centre name is Ellery but that will change before the weekend is out. We are just going to get to know him a little then decide.

He's a cutie! I love that little bit of white on the tip of his tail! I don't think he looks too thin though.

Ancient he really is rather skinny. you probably cant see it in the photos. Not unhealthy skinny but gangly for sure!

actually they ammended that to 6. I have not weighed him yet. Hes pretty featherish compared to 5 kg gullump Roland.

Aww, he really is just a baby. All of mine were around 5-7 pounds at 6 months. I remember, Oksana was always the one that was the lightest. Up until about a year ago, she was still just 8 pounds. She's a steady 10 right now. I remember my vet telling me, that during their first year it's normal for them to weight their age in months

Don't know if that's true for all cats, but that's the way it worked out with my gang until they all reached their year.

He is adorable!! The little white tip on the end of his tail is sooo cute!! I think it won't be long before he and Roland will be wrestling all over the place!!

Thanks Chico. He has been neutered, about a week ago. everytime I go into the room he comes out and snuggles up on my lap. He was licking my eyelids earlier. Such a sweetie. Now just to gt Roland on board. Hes sulking right now but Im sure it wont be too long. I just have to be patient and not worry too much about baby being lonely in the spare room on his own. I think he will get lighter tabby markings as he grows.
