Are they both fixed? If he is stalking her aggressively or attacking, separate them. Also, keep them in different rooms when you are not there, in case there is a problem. Don't worry about the female being shut up until you can figure this out, they really don't mind as much as we think. Make sure she has food and water, and a litterbox.
Is there any change in their environment that you can think of? New house, new baby, new dog? Have either been to the vet recently? Are there strays roaming about outside? Sometimes the presence and odour of strange cats can set them off. Are they both healthy? Those are the questions you need to ask yourself. Last edited by badger; October 31st, 2007 at 02:05 AM. |

Yes the oldest one went to the vets right after the incident.they are both fixed and they were getting along fine for 7 months. The youngest male storm keeps on crying to get in to her room wants to play.Did you ever here of this before happening?I really dont want to get rid of the youngest but if thats what its going to take for her to come out.

What incident?
And if you let him into her room, how does he behave? Like his old self, ready to play. Or does he attack her? In other words, is it just her who has changed, or both? |
