Champion whippet is still out there!
Vivi, the champion whippet who escaped at the airport, is still running around loose! How has she survived? What is she eating? I don't know, but they've got a hotline set up for people to call in when they see her. The latest sighting was on June 20th.

I had just assumed someone had taken her and not returned her. Cool. Hope they do get her back..

Some greyhounds have been known to have survived a year before being recaptured, one had got loose from the owner after being brought home from a spay surgery in Ontario, it was early spring snow still on the ground and several very cold nights , she survived 2 months before being captured, other then being underweight, and a bit dehydrated she was in pretty good shape with minor wounds, Sighthounds have amazing resiliency and a lot less fragile then they appear
