Unhappy No Bees either

I don't know about anywhere else, but we always have lots of Bees here in the summer, this year almost none, the same as with the Butterflies.
It seems like this summer has been a real wash-out in more ways than one,it's kind of sad:sad:
Also I've only heard the sound of the Cicadas(sp?)and they really are the sound of summer-heat.

I haven't seen very many bees or butterflys either..

just a lot of earwigs and spiders..

I've been reading about the population of honey bees declining. It's sad because this is a big issue:sad:

I've had lots of bees here and a fair number of monarchs, despite the lousy weather, so I'm not sure why you're not at least seeing some Chico2. Hopefeully with the sunshine returning today you'll see some outside today, that is before it clouds over again.

I've been fortunate to have lots of bees in my garden - but others in my area say they haven't seen many at all! Same thing last year - lots of bees in my garden but few in other areas.

You're right, Chico - it is a big concern on what's happening with our environment!

Lots of bees here! You want some? I'll send them right up!
I hadn't seen many crickets this year. Thought that was really strange. But then yesterday during a spot of not raining I was doing some weed whacking and saw tons of them in the long grass. We have lots of grasshoppers and praying mantis too!

I'm not seeing many Bees either expecially the big Bumble Bees, it's been like that all summer. Except for insects that are eating my plants quite verily, I'm not seeing many of the good kind

well last year we had sooo many bees,if we wanted to eat outside we had to put up this big net-tent-thingy over the table.
Also Monarchs we had tons of them in my flowers..today I saw one:sad:

We have plenty of Bumble-bees,they are drilling holes in our pergola, sawdust everywhere, but that's ok,they are kind of cute.

Hey you want bee's???
They're all here! Every friggen kind you can imagine
I defended them in my blog a while back, stuck up for the little stinging bastids and how do they repay me?
By stinging me in 2 day intervals for 6 days!
Yes, once on the forehead, that hurt like
Then on the EYELID, let me tell you about pain those little 's
then on the lower back, this one did not hurt, perhaps by the end of my stinging bout I had become immune to the feeling of it. That or the eyelid sting was still pounding
So you want some? I'll gladly pack up a hive or 2 that we have hanging around here and ship them on over
