need answer tonight....

Hello-

Taking kitty into the clinic to check thyroid level in the early morning. She is fasting overnight.
I need to leave the house before the clinic opens and do not know whether to give her the Methimazole medication in the morning before putting her in the carrier. Once I put her in the carrier, I will not be able to give her the pill.

Anyone know if the morning dose should be given before the thyroid blood level test?

Thanks.
