Digital Camera Advice
I'm hoping that maybe someone can help me with my digital camera problem. I'm trying to upload some pictures from my camera and it will only upload pictures from my internal memory on my camera and not my memory card. Does anybody have any ideas as to why this would happen and how to fix it? The camera and card are quite new just got them in December.
Oh my camera is a Kodak Easy Share so its nothing to fancy. Any help would be appreciated. The pictures will be worth it!! I got to help pick out an 8 week old shih tzu for grandparents. She is very cute. Thanks!

How are you uploading your photos right now?
-usb cord directly from the camera to the computer -docking station -card reader Where do your photos 'go' once you upload them?

as an ex Black's photo rep..... i can say that the way you load your photos may have nothing to do with not being able to load from memory card...BUT there might be an option there you're missing....SO try uploading from a card reader without having your camera attached at all if you have a card reader.
I also think that your camera may have an option that asks if you want to use internal memory or memory card......in which case your memory card may not even be filled up, since the camera only uses internal memory. In which case it can only take info from there. NORMALLY, at download time it should get photos from both memories so you might want to check that. that's all i got for now good luck |

I'm uploading my pictures using a usb cable but I don't have a card reader. I'll check the options on my camera to see what I come up with. This has never happened before! Its very frustrating.

If you have a printer with memory card capability that may be the best way to go and how I do it, check your printer / manual for that option.
Saves your battery life as well

I know this question is old, but since the question never got answered here, I'll ask anyhow--did you ever get this figured out, katy? I have an easy share too so I can explain if you still need help.

Hi Shannon,
It turned out that i had a faulty memory card. The company gave me a new one for free because i hadn't even had it for a year but I lost all the pictures I had on it so it was kind of sad. I had a few of my grandparents seeing their puppy for the first time that I would have liked to save. But all is well with the new memory card (knock on wood!). Thanks for your offer of help though. I'll keep you in mind if I have any questions about the camera.
