Been awhile

Hey everyone....Missed you all...The last year has been crazy (not in a good way) but have finally calmed down. Thank Dog. Have bad news, My hubby and I split, and he found out where I had the boys kenneled and he sold them on me, I have tried for almost a year to find them with no luck...My girls and I had to relocate fast and start over from nothing, but I am pleased to say that we are doing good and healing and moving forward. Hope everyone is well and looking forward to catching up

Thanks guys It has been hard, but finally in a good place and he is out of our lives for good...The hardest was the boys, dont know if they are with good people or not and That keeps me awake at night. The Breeder and I tried everything to find them, But I am nolonger in Ontario s it is harder for me to look, but it was a matter of saftey.

omg, that's awful, M&M!

I'm glad you and the girls are safe, though. It sounds like things are looking up for you!

M&M, I am so sorry you have had such a hard time. Since this is an open forum I cannot say what I think of your husband both for what he put you and the children through, but then to be heartless enough to sell the dogs on you. How could the kennel have released the dogs to anyone other than you since you put them in?? How absolutely unethical of them, and possibly illegal. All that said, what matters most (although it doesn't heal the heart) is the fact that you and the girls are safe now. I wish you all well and hope that you can recover and get your lives back and move forward in a positive way. Welcome back.

Thanks DD...the kennel knew him as we had boarded the boys there befor and I was a dummy and had the boys papers in both our names...so under the law the kennel wasnt at fault. But we are healing, and the @%$* is out of our lives. Things are getting better and moving forward

M&M, I guess in hindsight (which is always a wonderful thing...) you should have informed them of the situation, but who could possibly have figured he would have done that just to be vindictive. Another example of where Karma needs to step up to the plate. I truly do wish you well and am glad to hear you and the girls are moving on.

Hey breeze, I pray that the boys are in a safe and loving place as well....they are very lovable so hopefully they are loved almost as much as the girls and I love them

M&M, did you personally speak to the owner of the kennel? Because last I heard, Matt & Murph were placed in a new home when, after many months, no one had contacted him about them. He thought they had been abandoned there at the kennel . Even the Mastiff breed club out west and a rescue in the area got involved where funds were offered to cover all expenses incurred in regards to boarding, food, and vet care. If you call him, maybe he'll be willing to give you some info on their whereabouts. they're in a good home.

The orginal kennelI had them in I took them out as the lady didnt want them there as they were moving the kennels around and she said that they broke one. I sent the someone there to look into it and they didnt see broken kennels....they were moved from there, by me and taken to a different kennel. The mastiff breed club was sent by breeder when the ex called him and told him that the kennel was beating the boys...Breeder couldnt get ahold of me at the time and he sent club out...I hav the paper work from the second kennel and sent him copys and since then he has been helping me to recover them.

How terrible this story is, other than hubby not seeing natural daylight currently. You just gotta love karma! Hopefully you will be able to recover the boys, or at worst find out that they are well and in a loving home. I'll be praying for you all in your new lives and praying that the boys are returned to you soon.

I'm confused. Is the first kennel you're referring to the same one that I had been in contact with for you? Or is that the second Kennel?

Welcome back M&M! Boy we all missed you!

What a terrible ordeal that A*&H@le put you and the girls through however; it sounds like you've turned a new leaf on life.

It would be nice if the breeder can help locate the boys and hopefully bring them home or at least know they're together and happy.

I was going to post a link to a Pets.ca video that was made back in April where Matt & Murphy were in it but I can't find the video link anymore???

I have often wondered what happened to you.
I and that Matt&Murph are in a loving dedicated home.
It's unfortunate that you lost them, but perhaps it's for the best because it sounds by your postings that you are recovering from a bad situation and you need to focus on yourself and your human kids for now.

I will miss seeing pics of Matt&Murph, the big squishy faces.
