I don't know about the plant, but it's not that far away here. So why couldn't I get TO here!

Well the distributor for TO out here would not name the plant for me, although he did say it was in NY State and how great it was. I e-mailed him back and asked him if it was Chenango and was that not the plant that had been sued in 2001 by Natural Balance for mold-related loss issues? He confirmed that indeed Chenango was their production plant, but was not aware of the Natural Balance issue and said he would have to look into that. I also e-mailed TO directly and got a msg back about how safe their plant is and all their safety checks and such, but for proprietary reasons they could not name the plant. Kinda strange in today's environment isn't it?

I kinda feel if you have nothing to hide, why hide it???

Ooops just read TeriM's post and that's the same reply I got from TO.

I still haven't received a reply from Chenango. I will re-send my email after the long weekend. I sent an email to TO today telling them that their secret is out.

I found out today (from somebody that works for them) that 2 of TO's canned foods are made by Menu Foods. I think Menu makes almost everyone's canned food.

WHAT!? I always thought that they only had 1 type (Pheasant & Herbs). I just looked again for affirmation & still, I only see that one.

If you're looking at the website, click on the sampler underneath the pheasant. I've also seen some different formula's at a Global.

Isn't the sampler pack samples of all their dry formulas?

Oops, looks like you're right.

But the person I spoke with today said 'two of our formulas'. I assumed it was canned. I certainly hope it's not dry.
