Puppy Mill Poem

[AM04]

I wanted to share a poem I wrote, I was inspired by my
new baby, CHIPPER, I love her already:}
Cindy and furbabies

can someone save me please ,It is cold and dark,
They have taken my voice, I can't even bark

can someone save me please, My floor is wood, wire and
dirt
my feet are cut and bleeding, they are swollen and
hurt

can someone save me please, my water bowl is dry
sometimes God sends me a drink from the sky

can someone save me please, my pup's have been sold
they are gone, and now I have no one to hold

can someone save me please, I am covered in ice and
snow
I am cold and shivering, my spirit has sunken very low

can someone save me please, my leg is broken and
bleeding
just a little bandage and love is all I'm needing

can someone save me please, I promise I will be good
I won't be any trouble, and do what I should......

Someone has saved me, it is no longer cold and dark
I am warm and safe, lying by the children in the
park

some one has saved me, I no longer live in
wood, wire, and dirt
my feet aren't swollen, and no longer hurt

Someone has saved me, my water bowl is no longer dry,
But I still like the drink that God sends me from
the sky

Someone has saved me, and I will never be sold,
They love me and kiss me, I have someone to hold

someone has saved me, I am no longer covered in ice and
snow
I lay by the fire, and watch it's amber glow

someone has saved me, my leg is no longer broken and
bleeding,
they gave me the bandage and love I was needing

Someone has saved me, my life is very good
my mama, say's I'm no trouble and always do what I
should


This is a poem I came across while searching rescues, and was one of my faves. Made me cry both tears of sadness, and joy.
