Has anyone tried BEANO on gassy dogs???

Well as usual I am sitting here in the great state of Michigan at 4 AM awaiting the sun rise. Yesterday at this time we had snow coming down and by 5 PM today they are predicting temperatures nearing 80 on the western side of the state and easily into the mid 70' here.
ANYWAY as I sit here my faithful dog Jazzy-the hound of the Baskervilles- is sleeping -dreaming of chasing bunny rabbits (?) and passing gas is volumes that would end the energy crisis. If I could only bottle it and run my cars on it.
Jazzy has healthy looking stools (WHERE ELSE CAN YOU CHAT ABOUT POOP PROFILES?) is seen by the vet every other month for routine maintenance and checkups. Her "gas blasting" is beyond that which I have ever had in a dog before. Granted this is not a new condition and not one I am overly concerned about however as she sleeps and produces and then (automatically) releases all this gas it gets rather intense after a few hours. I keep seeing ads for BEANO and wondered if anyone has tried it on dogs? I suggested it to my vet and she didn't think it would hurt but also said she had never had and a reason to try it.(not sure if she was referring to herself or her dog).
In the spring summer and fall she sometimes sleeps in the Fla. room which has openable skylights and it will just float up and out and I guess on through the hole in the ozone.
However her favorite sleeping place is in the hallway leading into our bedroom.
Just wondering if anyone else has pondered this problem.

Never thought of trying it but my dog could sure use it sometimes!
Are you sure there aren't any people around when this "gas" happens, your dog wouldn't be the first dog to get blamed for that!

Brick too....NASTY farts!!! It makes my eyes water they are so bad!!! At first I thought it was the ScoobySnax treats we were giving him, so we stopped those, and he's stillllllll farting!!! ARGHHH!!! I think its the natural Eagle Pack food he eats....LOL I just blame it on Tim!!!

About a week ago, Bob and I are sitting on my bed reading, and he takes three short breaths and does this little strain motion and it sounded like a flock of ducks was overhead! Then he gets this big silly smile on his face like he's accomplished something funny!

I've never used beano Woodbyter but I am using Tums now at the recommendation of my vet. Just so Abbey gets enough calcium in her diet.
And her farting has seemed to calm down a bit. I've noticed when I give her extra food at dinner time we pay dearly for it later. Are you maybe overfeeding him a little bit?

Ever since I switched my dog over to Wellness - no gas! Ever!

I should do that with my cats (especially Stinky) who has no qualms about getting on my lap and farting in my face.

Yeah Lucky,but kitty-ones are usually quiet and it's usually Vinnie,who quickly leaves the room...leaving me giving hubbie dissapproving glances and he me But ladies don't do that

Yeah - SBD (Silent But Deadly). Who would think that something so dainty looking as a little white kitten could let go with farts bad enough to peel paint??
