Dog with a very bad rash/Constant chewing
Hi I am new here and fairly experienced with animals but I'm having an issue with my 14 month old pit bull/german shepherd cross and really need some help. I have attached 2 pictures of his rash. We rescued him and his 13 brothers and sisters from a chicken coop. He is very nervous and timid when we leave the house he hides under our bed. Even though we had him on Advantage he got fleas and it took a good 3 weeks for all our animals and our house to be flea free thankfully we have not had any issues in a couple weeks. Anyway Jaxon has this rash on him and I don't know why. He scratches so much it wakes me up and nothing I do makes it stop. Is it a food allergy or something more?? I have been putting antibacterial cream on it and its not helping. Does anyone have any idea what it is?? My other animals are fine.

Have you had a vet look at it, yet? That's probably your best bet. The vet can take scrapings and run other tests to figure out what's causing the problem.
Hope it's nothing too difficult to clear up
