cat won't eat
My cat is 7 1/2 years old. Just this weekend, I've noticed that she wasn't eating her food, one she's been eating for about 3 years now (Medi-cal)! She has also been vomiting yellow liquid (bial?) and is meowing a lot - I think because she's hungry...
I went out and bought a new food (Nutro) but she doesn't like it. I then went and bought some wet canned food but she only licked it a bit. She will eat chicken and snacked a little bit on tuna, but nothing substantial. I will add that we added a new baby to our home in December - maybe she's feeling left out? Any thoughts would be appreciated. |

I don't know much about cats, but this sounds more serious than just feeling left out or jealous of the new baby. A vet trip is probably in order--there may be something seriously wrong with your kitty.

Yellow bile always alarms me. She's probably nauseous, which pretty much ruins their appetite. If you can afford a basic blood panel, having one done now will rule out alot of things and may even save you money in the end.
Let us know what happens. |

Yeah I agree. Better to try to get to the bottom of what is going on.

Cats get stressed out with changes, but not to this point,I would definetly take her to a vet, cats if not eating can very quickly crash and then she could be in serious trouble.:sad:Let us know how she's doing
