July - Backlit pets

Anyone want to try this? Just shoot your pet in front of the window...usually works.

Here's Baci captured with my smarphone.

I'm game...at least if windows count! Not quite the mysterious atmosphere of Baci's portrait, but here they are:

She's bee-yoooo-teee-full, DOG!

Is that one of the windows you've been painting for the art center shows?

LOL! Yes it's one of the old windows Hazel. Just finished the sunset and going to take a break for now with the oils on glass. Want to get an Oriole on canvas started soon to compliment the hummer painting.

Here are a couple of pictures of BB sitting on the "cat's stool" at the patio door.

The bottom picture is of Mrg "eye and eye" with a local resident. With Mrg and squirrel - there was an issue over payment with squirrel for posing for photo shoot.

So Reg.--what was the ultimate outcome of the payment dispute? I hope Mrg was able to negotiate mutually satisfactory terms! Too cute!!

They spend a lot of time looking out that window, dmc! The next best thing to being outside, I guess.

Hazel - he didn't get paid. I wanted to pay him after the job was completed - the photo picture - and he wanted payment up front. I have found that paying up front means he has to "bank" immediately, and sometimes he doesn't return for 12 to 24 hours. Consequently I wasn't able to get the photo I wanted. He and Mrg get along well on their own side of the window.

Great timing on the Tigger shot, Lynne! I love how you got him mid-bat!
