Hi, I have a three year old bearded dragon named Frank. What kinds of things do you usually put in your dragon's salad? Frank is super picky...he only likes mustard greens and collards... I can't seem to get him to eat much of anything else. He also is a snob when it comes to those crickets in cans, but he loves worms (meal worms and wax worms for a treat sometimes).

I have a two year old Mali uryomastx. I feed her spring salad and alfafa sprouts. She is also very fussy and will not eat much else.....I do give her the occasional cricket which she loves.

I made a salad of finely chopped ( so they can't just pick out the stuff they like) of dandilion leaves, collard greens, brussel sprouts, acorn squash, parsnips, carrots, strawberries, blackberries, papaya, kiwi and peaches (no seeds or skin) grapes, figs and green beans. I think that was it. My bro has 2 iguanas and he makes them salad but varies it a little every time to make it interesting. Just be careful, if your lizard is small some seeds can obstruct their bowels and some are toxic. there is lots info on the web of what is safe. you can freeze it too. i preportioned it and then froze most of it.

For my Beardie we chop up froz. mix veg (defrosted first) and then chop up romaine lettuce, he loves his crickets which he gets at least twice a week and can go through 2 doz large in one setting. In the summer I also give him dandelion leaves, but only from my cottage where I know there is no pesticide use. These are his favs but he does like a spring mix now and then too.

I buy all my fruit and veg at the store. You could try europe's best fruit mix ( strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberry mix) all are safe for my water dragon. just becareful the size of the seeds compared to your lizard. I was told that romaine is mostly just water, no real nutritional value. Dandilion leaves and flowers are good though.
