I geez Chico! LOL...
My dad was having trouble with the squirrels getting into the feeder as well. He placed a plastic lid (large enough that the squirrel has a hard time to get around it) on top of the feeder. It protected it from the squirrels climbing down like yours LOL! Maybe that's something you could try??

Chico, my grand father made his own squirrel safe feeder. Well kina anyway, he has it on a post about 4 feet high, away from trees or anything else the squirrels can jump from. Around the post it is on is sheet metal, sprayed with some sort of environmental safe spray that makes it slippery. He only has to spray it once a week, or if it rains. Never had a problem with the squirrels getting into that feeder.... lol

Yeah,I don't really mind, love the little guys and everything else out there..
I buy BIG bags of peanuts and feed them
FiFi just about knocks on the door for her share and now I've got all these adorable babies....
I actually fixed the one feeder,so it's not squirrel-safe,so I was not complaining..the only one complaining is my neighbor

Chico, we had black squirrels at the other house.didn't have a feeder then, but we still threw out seed daily for the critters. Which reminds me, I have fill the feeder today. I'll have fun with that one, DH usually does it because I am so short. He actually thought I was 2 inches taller than I actually am.... I barely make 5 foot 2

I forgot that hubby bought a ladder a while back. Funny thing is it is in the family room, by the paint..... We just don't use the family room all that often, so I forgot all about it....
