Hi - I'm new and so's my cat

Hello everyone.

We stumbled on the site while browsing and want to join the crowd. I'm a transpalnted Calgarian now in Virginia with our 11 year old female cat, Dulcinea (Dulcie). I also have a husband whom we tolerate and find useful for feeding Dulcie and changing the litter.

I look forward to future news and exchanges with you all.

Hi Kutzy, and welcome to you! Hope you'll enjoy the site!
Your Dulcie is a real beauty, lovely girl you have!

I have a dog and 3 cats, and though my hubby will feed them...havent had any sucess in getting him to tend to the kitty litterbox detail.
Its' mine...all mine.

Hey! Welcome aboard! I am a fellow Virginian myself. Where are you located? I am in Bedford, between Roanoke and Lynchburg if you are familiar with that at all. You have a beautiful kitty too!

Dulcie thanks everyone for their compliments.

My husband picked her out at an adoption clinic. His first ever pet! She was one of the ugliest kittens I had ever seen. She came with fleas and some very bizarre neurological problems. While playing she would run right into walls and sometimes would be so ill she would lean against the wall to keep upright. She did not do any of the usual cat things like jump or climb. Dulcie continues to have bouts of illness and has developed hip dysplasia, she also bites. Dulcie did become a beautiful cat however, and is a good girl for the most part, aside from the biting issue.

My husband insists Dulcie’s medical expenses have put our vet’s children through college.

Brandy we live in Northern VA near Dulles airport.
