The official young and old thread

I thought this might be a fun thread for people that have had their pets for a while and like me, have taken loads of pics.

As far as I'm concerned - pets grow old way more gracefully than their human caretakers.

P.S. I am aware that cream cheese is not the best for cats - It was Zak's Birthday and he's NOT fat he just has a big frame

Those are great pics!

What a great idea!
I agree that our pets do age more gracefully than we do............. if I could carry my wrinkles as well as my dogue does well hell I wouldn`t care either LOL

I have loads and loads of pics ( as I guess most of the board has seen)
How do I put the baby/grown up pics together as you did?

PS Your cat could do commercials, very photogenic . I have a soft spot for orange tabbys there are my favorite!

For DogueLover,

I used a graphics program like Photoshop to create a new document where I dropped the 2 photos into to create 1 file.

more precisely

I fixed up photos 1 and 2 - reduced them to the size I wanted, then created a new document that was twice the width of the 2 then added the 2 files into the new document. Took about 12 minutes!

hope that helps

Dogue - very cute!

If it is a free program you are using - can you please give out the name in case people are looking for free graphics programs.

Good idea! I got all my animals as adults - strays or rescues - except for Stinkerbelle, who came here as an 8 week old foster 15 months ago (and refused to leave!)

She was so darn cute....what happened?

The program I use

I got the program with my digital camera, it is called PhotoImpression and I love it. Even if I haven`t figured it out completely yet.
If anyone would like a copy of it I could burn copies, it allows you to pick pics off your camera, or scanner, or from any folder or cd etc.
The editing part is really great.
Anyone who may want a copy just send me a pm and I`ll see about getting you one.

Sophie is adorable.
Just as cute as ever, but not much bigger. I love the hair around her eyes, so fluffy and cute.
I'm giving in and getting myself a digital camera, I feel like I'm so far behind the rest of you, showing off your kids everyday!!

My turn! My turn!

It's great to watch all these pets.ca babies grow up on-line! They all look beautiful!

Umm... all the cats on this thread are positively svelte compared to my little piggy! Sorry, no kitten pics of him (he was pre-pre-digital!).
