I am not sure of all the breeds out there! what is she? she kinda looks like an Akita type? sure is gorgeous though! how old is she?

Winston I think so too,if not pure Akita,maybe Akita/Shepard Xshe sure is a pretty girl though,love the blackish facemask

Zoe is a Norwegian Elkhound/Chow Chow mix. Her mom was the Elkhound and dad was the Chow.

I have many people think she is an Akita, not too many people have seen an Elkhound, which is grey and white. Zoe got her Orangy colour and her attitude from the Chow side.....LOL.

Oh and she is three years old.

Wow she is gorgeous! I would not have thought Norweigen Elkhound......I think it is the tail that made me think Akita!

Yes,I can see a bit of Chow in her,now that you told us,I had a German Sheperd/Chow X a long time ago,a wonderful dog,except he only took commands from my husband

LOL Chico, gotta love the Chow attitude! With both her mixes being of the stubborn breeds she can be a real handful sometimes. I am the commander and hubby is the play toy.......she has him wrapped very tightly around her fuzzy fingers!! And I am just the "buzz" killer......

She is very pretty! She reminds me of a dog someone I know used to have years ago. It was thought she was an akita/chow mix. She looked very similar to yours!

dch,my Julle looked nothing like Zoe,he did have a blue tongue and the somewhat stocky body of a Chow,I have a pic here somewhere
My son in the pic,is now 37,so that is how long ago it was
