Last hurrah for Monarchs?
These two Monarchs were happily munching away today,they were even in the Monkshood flower...I am always happy to see them
 14+,I got a little purple flower on the egg-plant you gave me

We've been seeing a few, but it seems like the main push is already south of here. About all we're seeing now are the mourning cloaks, which will hibernate locally.

We have not seen much of anything this year,we usually have an abundance of the little yellowish/white butterflies,hardly any this year,the same with Dragon-flies:sad:

Same here, chico. We've had a handful of cabbage whites and a few of the clouded sulfurs, but that's it
 I think it was just too cool for them this year.  that next year is better!ETA: we have had a pretty healthy number of dragonflies, though...
