Question Hot spots and dog food recommendations

Hi, my dog has hot spots and I bought some Premium Edge and some spray for hot spots a couple weeks ago. She is getting better but I wonder if there is some dog food that is comparable to Premium Edge but not so expensive. I heard Kirkland was good but I am not a Costco member.

Thanks,
Darlene

Not sure what you mean by expensive but I did some research on dog foods after asking similar questions in these forums.

I have switched my small terrier to Orijen and my daughter feeds her husky Acana Pacifica. Its not so expensive and it has made their coats amazingly silky and soft. I would not have believed it if I didn't see it myself - I used to feed them grocery store brands but after we switched it was amazing how much it changed after just 6 or 7 weeks.

Just my 2 cents and I'm not a big poster here or anything - just a pet lover.

Norm

Thanks, I was using Gold Bond and my dog loved it when I rubbed it on her but it didn't seem to be helping. I bought a hot spot spray where I bought the Premium Grade food and she didn't like it. Now that she is better I'm going to try Gold Bond again.
