This morning I stumbled on this website and began reading the archives. I soon knew I wanted to participate in this forum. I own two neutered Bichon Frises, ages 15 months and 2 years nine months. We have owned many large hunting dogs, but this is my first experience with a small breed. I did a thorough research before settling on the Bichon. I felt he could give me what I wanted and needed in a dog (i.e. low execise requirements, size, coat and temperment). Just as important, I knew I could meet his needs and give him a structured, happy, healthy life and LOTS of love. And that is exactly how this arrangement has worked out; these two little guys have captured my heart and all I could have hoped for. I'm so thankful I did the research. I've learned a lot in the last three years, but know I have much yet to learn. This is why I've joined this forum and look forward to learning from others experience. Thank you.

Welcome to the board! This is a great place to come for information. And if you'd like to post pictures of your bichons...well...I'm sure no one here would complain! You won't find a bigger group of picture junkies anywhere!
