Official Crazy Kitties thread

Do we have one of these yet? I don't have a kitty, but there is a tortoise shell stunt kitty in the back of my apartment... She climbs ladders, trees and even walks on the electric wires... Here is her walking on the wires...

I think she's trying to say, "Can you quit the barking and staring? I have to concentrate. This isn't as easy as it looks." I don't know if you can see her in this one, but just to give you an idea of how high up she is. The bird feeder is on my clothes line off the second floor. She's resting in the tree watching the birdies... It is so dark behind my building that it is so hard to take pictures... (She's the dark spot just left of the middle below the clothes line)

These are my birdies. I'm not responsible enough to clean my own birdies, so I just care for the natural ones... As you can see, I get a lot of business. They clean out the feeder 2 times a day...

I love the bird picture. I just bought a bird feeder so I will be setting it up this weekend. I am with you I have not room after two dogs and two kittens and a rat to have room for birds. But I do love them so I will feed them outside.

I think it's a combination of my peronality and my good looks. Just kidding. I really think it's because the buildings are really close together so my bird feeder is really closed in. Apparently they don't like it when the feeder is in the wide open. My balcony railing is less than 2 meters from the feeder which is really close to the tree. More secure I guess (despite the roaming/climbing predators...)

Oh and by the way, I haven't had any trouble with squirrels-- my clothes line is only nailed once, so if a squirrel tries to tight-rope it, it flips upside down. Accidental cure for squirrels.

I think they're just using me. When I come out singing "spoonful of sugar", they all flee...
