cat dreaming

Lately Twiggy has been vocalizing in her sleep...and she's never done this before.

I'm guessing it's related to dreaming about fish.. or dreaming in general.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?

thx!

Hey Marko
Both dogs do this but neither of my kitties ever did that. I think its likely dreaming as well.
I think we are due for a new Twiggy pic I forget what she looks like

Wow! I've seen JD twitch now and then, but he saves his vocalizations for daytime conversation...

Does Twiggy like watching fish enough to dream about them, do you think? She needs her own aquarium! And I'm with Winston--we need some more Twiggy pics!

Marko, we have a female Manx kitty who is 9 years and she constantly makes funny little noises when she snoozes during the daytime. She lies on the back of our chesterfield on a favourite kitty blankie, and it's right behind my head. The noises that come out of her at times are very very interesting - from soft moans and sometimes raspy sounds - usually when there is something interesting on the TV. Our male cat Yogi also has some interesting movements when he's sleeping - from the tip of his tail wagging, to quivers around his face, and his feet sometimes flail like he's chasing something.

When we had Shadow, he used to wake himself up with his running and snoring. One of our dogs used to wake up barking - but that was years ago.

With some animals it seems to be very common. Guess perhaps you just haven't noticed it before with Twiggy. And they are very much like us - all these cute noises come with age.
