Cruelty AND abandonment!

****"Shrek has been adopted*****

I was abandoned a year ago, and someone, in an act of terrible cruelty, put wire around my neck. A nice lady took me and cleaned my wounds, but put me outside again and I"ve been outside for a whole year! I've been very cold and very frightened and I sleep in a ditch when I can. I"m kinda fat because everyone feeds me but no one would take me in where I really want to be. In spite of the cruel way I've been treated, I'm still willing to love and trust people and am very sweet and friendly. I would be SO grateful to have a warm and loving home of my very own. Can you PLEASE take me in?
**A big "THANK YOU" to the vets at the Dorion clinic for taking this sweetie in and thanks also to "Chatocat" for making us aware of his plight!***

This big guy has someone asking about him already. Thanks for the concern, and I'll let you know when he goes to his forever home and can cuddle up in someone's bed instead of lying in a ditch.

Chico, he's fat AND BIG! May be part Maine Coon and he is beautiful.

I went to visit him, and he is an in-your-face purrin', droolin', roly-poly love SPONGE who demands pets and lovin'! He is as soft and sweet as a toasted marshmallow!

If you stop petting and cuddling him for one second, his paw comes out to drag your hand back over.

Anyone who wants to fill their heart and lap, this (lover)boy is waiting!!

Lucky, believe me,if I did not have my own three somewhat unstable kitties(since Vinnies arrival ),I would think nothing of driving to Montreal and picking up this beauty, even if it was for a friend, but my very best friends have 5 cats each(all HS cats),so between us we have 18 cats
But you don't adopt out outside of Quebec anyway, right??Maybe because the cats only speak french
I always used to say that my one fat cat(peppi)was just very fluffy,if people commented on his girth

Lucky,I am sure you would
I go to our HS on a regular basis, deliver blankets, baskets etc...and they are always over-loaded with cats,I never go to the adoption-room,but they have cats in cages right in the lobby too, since they usually do not euthanize.
I know if I ever had the room for another cat,he/she would probably be coming from there. All the cats needing homes are just overwhelming and so very sad.....
I am hoping "your"beautiful big cat will find a home, someone must see the beauty in him and want him to cuddle  But then again, they are all beautiful

Well, guess who got adopted 2 hours into his first adoption event? No surprise there. Three people wanted this gorgeous big boy who was rolling and kneading in his cage screaming "LOVE, LOVE - GIVE ME LOVE NOW!!"

I'm bringing him to my house for the night and his new mom will pick him up tomorrow!

He's in my guest room right now, not bothered in the least by his car rides, new surroundings and adoption clinic today.

If I didn't have 3 freak-cats already, he would be staying right here. What a doll!
