I don't think crab grass would do so well inside--not enough light...and I don't know if it's toxic to cats. But can't you buy cat grass seeds to grow for your kitties?

I could ship you plenty of that!

Maybe she just acquired a special taste for crab grass when she was outside?

one of the kitty gurus knows if it's toxic...

I haven't found anything so far that says crabgrass itself is toxic to cats however there may be highly toxic chemicals used to kill crabgrass on it as many people don't like the invasive weed. So that would be a very good reason to keep Manda away from all crabgrass.

All my cats love crabgrass, even more than cat grass, they eat it everyday outside.

I did try digging up a plant and bringing it inside, but my house doesn't get enough light so it didn't last too long.
