LOST Black & White Male Tabby Ingersoll Ontario
Hi!
If anyone has seen a black and white male tabby cat in the North Ingersoll area please respond!! He has white paws, stomach and chest. He is a very affectionate and friendly cat. We miss him very much! He went missing Sunday September 21, 2008. We have called the SPCA, the Ingersoll Vet, Hillside Kennels. We have posted flyers in our area. His name is Ollie! Thanks so much!! |

You can try leaving tuna or salmon out. These foods have such strong oders. You can also try leaving something out on your porch that has your smell on it. Leave his litter box out.(something that has his smell out) Go out when it is early evening. This is the best time to look for him, since it is quiter outside.
Good luck and keep us posted. ACO22 |

Put flyers up in grocery stores, corner stores - anywhere there is a high volume of people traffic.
Good luck and good vibes your way! |

Thanks for all your support! I will definitely have to try everything I can to get him back. I called our local Public Works department and they have not found any cat with Ollie's description. So keep your fingers crossed!!!

Is he an indoor/outdoor cat or strictly indoor? If he is strictly indoor chances are he isn't far away. He may be terrified and afraid to move too far. Is he fixed? That may also dictate how far away he is. If he isn't fixed he may have wandered farther afield looking for a female.
The best time to look for Ollie is very early in the morning...... 5ish...... when it is quiet outside. Take a flashlight and shine it in bushes, under porches, wherever there may be a hiding place. The light may reflect his eyes. Call his name and then listen. He may answer. Take along his favourite treat and rattle the bag. It may bring him out, especially if he is hungry. You could also put a live trap on your porch/front steps, whatever you have, baited with his favourite food or a strong smelling food like tuna or sardines. He may be coming to the door in the middle of the night but no one is there to open it for him. As has been mentioned, put up lots of posters around your area. Go to the local shelters. Don't just phone, actually go to the shelter. They may have picked him up but don't think any cat fits your description.
