Belle's turn!

What breed/breeds do you think Belle is? We dont know but have a few guesses. In these pictures she is about 22 pounds, 6.5 years old. She is friendly with everyone, kids included but is very possesive of her squeaky toys. I cant find a good side view but her back legs are longer then her front and she is the fastest dog in the park. She proves this by out running all the dogs and stealing their balls. She can also jump extremely high, she can easily clear a baby gate which is well over twice the height of her.

So any guesses???

My guess, by the personality and the photos that she is a cross between a cocker spaniel and a long haired chihuahua.

Cavalier/cocker. You see the cocker in your first pic and the cavalier in the last.

Oh! King Charles! I never even thought of that. You can definitely see it in her size and face.

She's a cutie that's for sure.

I take back my first, uneducated guess!

King Charles is exactly what we were thinking to, the only thing we couldn't figure out was where she got her color and short ears from!

My thoughts are a cocker spaniel/cavelier spaniel.

The colour would come from the cocker spaniel and her ears aren't really any different than the cavelier's really (they just let the hair grow longer I think).

Yeah, I'd go with cocker for the color too and King Charles for the rest. Poms also have that caramelly color, but I think she's not fluffy enough or small enough for a pom...

Thanks for the replies! We were always wondering what she was mixed with! Im going to stick with Cocker spaniel.

I have a Pom also Prin and she is twice the size of him and much softer! (and grumpier!)

I thought I had a picture of the two but I cant find it anywhere.

I will have another look and post it if I can find it

Thanks again
Sarah

Found it! You cant really see the size difference though, and Wolf cant sit still long enough to have his picture taken!

I can't explain it, maybe the friendly look when she gazes directly into the camera, I think she looks like a golden retriever, but teeny tiny, maybe a cavalier/retriever. Not a scientific guess, just an imaginitive one ...

Whatever she is, she is cuuuute!

That is so funny you say that!! Someone stopped us on the street a while back and asked us if she was a pure bred Golden Retriever, then they asked if they could borrow a smoke....we dont smoke.

Someone also said that she may be part Basset Hound because she always has her nose to the ground! (These people were joking though because they had their Basset Hound at the park!)

Thanks everyone, Cavalier King Charles X Cockerspaniel!!!!!!
