feeding a turtle
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone who has ever had a red eared slider turtle knows anything special that they like to eat. I feed him his food pellets of course and fish on a regular basis just for being so cute! But I was wondering if there were any other treats that anyone has found that they like. I have tried some fruits, but he doesn't like those, I've tried some veggies and he doesn't like those either. I have heard that they like chicken and steak but I can't remember which one is cooked and which one is raw. I'd also like to know if anyone has had any experience with their turtle liking either one or anything else! Thanks! Chantal

I know this an old post, but they also like bugs and worms. They love crickets.
