Rodent Cage

I was given a plastic rodent pen/cage that we really have no use for. It is approx. 3-1/2 ft. long, 2 ft. wide, 2 feet high with a grill on the top. Included is a water bottle & hook-up as well as a plastic triangular piece (for nesting?).

I believe this unit would be suitable for nursing guinea pigs, small rabbits, or large rats. If you know of a rescue who can use this item, please pm me. I would rather it be put to good use than collect dust in our storage shed.

I don't know if Jody is still rescuing guinea pigs, but you can try her:

Also, there is a rat rescue:

Maybe Le Nichoire could use it as well! Might be just right for baby squirrels, raccoons, etc.

I didn't know they did rodents - I thought only birds. I'm surprised that Dr. Hamel didn't contact them - the pen was left at her clinic.

I too thought they did only birds. Thanks BMDluver - that's good to know!
