So can cats eat the whole thing?
I recently bought some ermm 'chicken backs' that were raw frozen. I work at a pet shop now and asked about them and was told to defrost them and just feed them to the cats.
It really didn't work out too well and I will not be trying it again. The problem now is that this was about a week ago, and um, I have not yet found the 'remains' of the chicken. They can't eat the bones right? I gave it to them and they just didn't get it, so I left it on a plate on the table and figured they'd eat it overnight. Next morning, no signs of it ever being there. Neither of my parents picked it up either! So, the mystery of the missing chicken back?

They probably just ate it
....and yes, raw feeding includes the bones, that's the idea. Of course, maybe they hid it somewhere sneaky like under your bed. |

Chicken backs are safe for kitties to eat.
Bet a kitty ate it.

Either the kitty ate it... Or its now hidden under a couch or bed. If it IS hidden, you'll begin to smell it pretty soon...
But yes! They DO eat alllll the bones! My doggies LOVE chicken backs! And necks...

Lol well... if you say so. I've already checked around under the beds and the couch... there were no drag marks across the floor either. We have tile in the kitchen and hardwood in the living room so I guess there would have been some sort of trail if they had taken it somewhere
I mean, it was a big hunka chicken stuffs. I believe the companies name was... Primal. If that helps any. I can just imagine like a month from now, cleaning out under the couch and finding this giant chicken bone hidden in there Probably would have started stinkin' by now though.

If they hid it somewhere, they will be back the next day to eat it. Bet it is all gone now.

My two month old kitten killed and completely ate a small frog!
Is that normal?? And now he's drooling slightly at the mouth...not licking himself completely, a little, but the drool still drips.. ...is it coz he's full? and i wiped it with a tissue. He seems calm now... came and sat in my lap comfortably as usual...

What a random place to ask a question like that. Um, the frog was probably poisonous so I'd go to the emergency vets.

She is in India, and posted it in another thread. No transportation to take it to the vet right now.
I recommended to induce vomiting.

I bet a kitty ate it too.* My boys love chicken backs and they are not shy to show it.* Matt knows when i am defrosting it and he sits in the kitchen and wait for it.* He crys and growls(playfully) at me till I get it ready for him. I bet the kitty was nervous of it a first cause it is new but then took a chance

Hi
This is going to sound strange,,but what does a chicken back look like? And please don't tell me it's bony.. We normally just buy the chicken quarters that have the legs and thighs attached. But I have no idea what a back looks like. Can cats eat any turkey bones? Thanks Debbie
