2 Goldens , South Shore MTL

Due to a divorce and the sale of the farm , 2 goldens are now looking for a new family. Female and male , 7 years old , up to date with vaccines and spayed/neutered. The family don't want to separate these 2 as they grew up together. Picture to follow soon.

They are beautiful. I just don't understand why one of them wouldn't want to keep them.

Oh Frenchy, they are absolutely beautiful, for as long as I live,I will never understand how people can just give up on their faithful friends
Who is going to take 2 Goldens?,I someone will,it would even further break their hearts if they were separated.
Where are they now,in a shelter???

Still with their owners. I won't let them go to a shelter. I will beg all the rescues I know , and if it doesn't work , I already told my friend who knows the owners , they might have to consider to separate the dogs. This way I could foster one and find a foster family for the other. But there's no way we can foster them together.

sometimes you just wanna.. just wanna........ And that isn't going to help these two! What is the reason this time that one of them can't take the dogs? Jealousy? Doggies might get to love the one they're with rather than the other one? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
I was telling hubby about them (just to get a conversation going mind you) and he said "Don't even think about it!" Think that means No????

I really hope these two beauties find a home Fast!!!

Did you show him the pic ?

These owners are older , the lady is very much stressed over the divorce thing , having to relocate , at her age , alone , I guess this is why she doesn't want to keep them , it would be too much for her ? And the man , I don't know

Yep, showed him the pic. I think he thinks that feeding and caring for 30 kitties and 2 dogs is enough at the moment.

He probably left her for someone else and the new woman doesn't like dogs.

Good luck for both these gorgeous dogs to get adopted together.

Most likely they are beautiful dogs hopefully they can stay together as it would be a shame to seperate them.

Oh my. So sad. I hope they do find a home together. Bad enough they're going to lose their human pack, it would be a shame if they got separated too.

There's always room for more. Just need to convince the big guy! I hate to think of these two separated.

I guess there is no grown kids willing to take the goldens. They look so happy and peaceful in that pic.

OMG these two are so regally beautiful Breaks my heart that this is happening to them now.

Just an FYI for anyone considering adopting these two (I have already asked but four dogs would be too much for Mr. Man )...

.we adopted our Ginger just short of her seventh birthday when the family moved and dumped her at the SPCA. Today is her 14th brithday and she is still going strong. No undue financial burdens medically. Seven is a great age...old enough not to destroy everything in sight BUT young enough to still really enjoy all the good things in life: car rides, walks, cuddles and the list goes on.

.Ginger was French when we adopted her and she easily learned all her commands in English. We also used hand signals at the time which are coming in handy now that she is starting to lose her hearing.

I really hope they can stay together. They would certainly be quite a gift for anyone lucky enough to adopt them
