The date for this event is August 20th, 2005. I will be up at the cottage or I would most certainly have come out to meet Linda. She and I have had conversations over the phone but not the pleasure of meeting in person, same with Maggie I think her name is who does call backs? I'll try to make the next one.

Yes, Maggie does our call backs. There will be other events where you will have the opportunity to meet Linda. She's a great lady!

Yes, there are cats adoption days, nothing scheduled as of yet. The SPCA Monteregie is at full capacity, 250 dogs and 100 cats. All animals are healthy and sterilized.

If you know anyone who's looking for a healthy dog, please tell them about the SPCA Monteregie dog adoption day this Saturday! Many breeds of dogs will be available for adoption!

Hi there,

I'm actually looking for a puppy, pretty flexible on which breed, will you have any available there as well? Also was wondering if you would be able to give me the exact address of the park as I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Thank you!

Directions:

Highway 10
exit 90 (waterloo lac brome)
go south towards lac brome
highway 243 south(It's about 8 km to get the village)
You will pass lake, which is lac brome
Stay on 243 south
You will be on on the right hand side of the lake)
eventually you will be in the village, you will see a stop sign
keep going down the hill before the next stop sign you will see the park.
Park is on the left hand side, you will see a SPCA Montereige banners.

It sounds more difficult than it actually is.

If you are coming from Montreal, take the Champlain Bridge. When you get off the Champlain Bridge, you will see the signs for highway 10. (Basically, just stay straight) It's a park, I don't have an address. Let me see what other things are close by and I will tell you.

I am not sure if any pups are going to the adoption day, BUT there are couple of six week old lab pups at the shelter. They are too young to be adopted, they are still with their mother. (Mother was dropped off, the next day she had pups!) If you are interested, you can always contact the shelter about the pups. When it's time, you can come see them and adopt one. www.spcamonteregie.com
