Toby Recently Lost: Tuesday Feb. 1st 2011, around 7pm. Mallorytown Landing area. (Ontario, between Brockville & Gananoque).

Description: black retriever/setter mixed breed, 60 lbs, 7 years old, male (neutered), red collar, micro-chipped, very friendly.

Hopefully your find your dog. Have you contacted Gananoque and District Humane Society. Although they are a ways from you, you never know who may have called them to report him.

Do you have a flyer that I could print out and put at our general store? I'm about 30 minutes from Brockville, NE if that would help?

I was looking at this page and they have a dog that kinda looks like him, it's Mississauga and they said he's 3 but the weight and under beard white seems to match.....long shot but you never know. (I thought too if he's got a chip then probably not but I just couldn't take the chance of not saying anything).

Thanks for your kind feedback.

We found Toby. He was dead on the side of a parkway (highway). We found him when the snow started to melt. It looked like he went quickly.

OMG I am so so sorry for you What a sad discovery but I guess it is better to know for sure then to wonder forever. Nonetheless, always prefer a happy ending and this just isn't

RIP sweet Toby...I hope you did go fast and not suffer at all. Run young whole and free again at the Bridge with all the others that have gone before.

So sorry you lost your sweet boy Toby. Hopefully you can find peace now knowing he is running pain free at the Bridge. You will see him again. RIP sweet boy, you were and always will be loved.
