My dog won 1st place 4 times at his obedience school

1) Most confident.

2) 1st place in agility (twice as fast as the other puppies).

3) 1st place in most obedient.

4) Fastest Learner.

I was so proud.

He was up against a Norweigan Elkhound, Jack Russell, Mastiff, Boxer/Lab, and a Pomeranian.

That's great!! The last time I hear someone brag about being the best in the obedience classes there was only one other dog.

Thanx.

We shocked the trainer because she said Malamutes were bad at agility lol.

Wow, agility at such a young age? I didn't think they'd allow it because of developing bones and all that.

Congrats! Isn't agility a blast? We're half way through our first set of lessons. Phoebe has mastered most of the equipment. The jumps aren't an issue - she's been jumping baby gates for a while now. She tackled the A-frame like a real trooper. The only thing that scares the bejeezus out of her is the teeter. That little piece of wood just might be the end of her agility career.

Congrats!!! You must be very proud

Chewie the evil rottie once won first place in his ob class. No one turned up for the last class except one other dog and it kept trying to chase the birds. Not something I brag about alot.

Congrats!! Our 12 week old GSD is on his 3rd puppy agility class. They start as young as 10 weeks, and as long as they aren't performing way high jumps (greater than their leg) they do just fine in learning the equipment!!

Congrats again!

I don't think I'll pursue agility competition with him simply because I know as he gets older and BIGGER, he'll be a lot slower.

I will however setup a little agility course in the backyard for him.

The agility course he did compete in on Tuesday was a small indoor one. The hurdles were 2 feet high for Zeus, 1 foot high for the smaller breeds. The tube was probably 2.5 feet in diameter. The stairs were 4 steps up and 4 steps down (Zeus basically jumped to the top and jumped off lol).

Congratulations. My Eskimo also performed brilliantly in class. I WANT a Nanny Camera to capture his true "I am a home with my feet up" behaviour. Little devil with an angel's face.

Congrats to you both for your hard work! He'll enjoy the course you set up for him, he'll get to show off and show you his stuff. He's a beautiful pup for sure!

That's wonderful! I hope Sophie does so well! I seriously doubt she'll get Miss Congeniality, though. She has a problem with other dogs. Unless they're all bigger than her, then she loves them. That little weirdo.
