Hi from Boucherville

I guess after 2 weeks and going through the adoption of beautiful Coda, it's to introduce myself so this is my story!! We currently live in Boucherville, with our 20 year old daughter and our golden retriever Balou, we wanted to find a hobby and decided to try horseback riding, we loved it and fell in love with a mare named Daisy, to make a long story short, we now have 3 horses and spend most of our time at the stables, we found ourselves torned between wanting to be with the horses and staying home with Balou...the solution was simple, let's just buy a farm and be with all our pets...humm, well we did, we are in the process of moving and now that we have some extra space we decided to add to the family, Hubby said: but only once we've moved right??? sure I said...let's just have a look!! we saw a picture of Coda on pets.ca and fell in love, we all went to visit him at the monteregie shelter and of course knew that he was the one...I said to hubby, he wont fit in the car hun! Hubby replied...sure look! (hubby and two dogs sitting in the back seats ) What can I say huh?
We adopted Coda a week ago and love him already, the people at the shelter were fantastic and everyone on pets.ca were a huge help.

What an awesome story! Welcome to the Forum! I remember your post about Coda and thought he would be the perfect match! I am so happy you chose to rescue! You have made a difference in that boys life! He looks like he fits right in! Good Luck to you and your farm family! Maybe it will have to get a bit bigger! he he!

Oohhh, I am so jealous . My ten year plan is to convince hubby to leave the big city and buy some quiet acreage somewhere .

Welcome to the forum .
