Question Orlo Dog Muzzles

There used to be a store in Toronto that sold these type of quality leather basket muzzles but I can no longer find the website.

Anyone have any ideas where I can find one? Or something very similar? I'm not interested in the mesh or nylon muzzles nor the Italian or wire basket muzzles. Just the really good leather ones. I was thinking maybe Pittie owners in Ontario would have some good referrals?

Thanks .

Will do Bailey.

For those not familiar with the name, here's a pic of one (cute puppy too ) in case you come across one in a pet store somewhere and recognize it...

LP , I have a basket muzzle just like that one. It's a large one though.

Why are you looking to buy one ?

It's for dh, in case he reacts negatively to when I take the cattle prod to him . I have to "encourage" him to get some housework done while I'm at work .

Penny wears one the rare time she goes to the vet. I hate the one she has now, it looks uncomfortable and made of really cheap leather . Little bits of suede form the unfinished side get stuck all over her face and head .

Nope . I found an email address that apparently belonged to the maker but I never got a reply. He's supposedly somewhere near Toronto. Maybe they closed?

I haven't read your pm yet LP, but I did a bit of sleuthing and Ren's in Oakville stock them. I just got off of the phone with them and they have a lot in stock ....I also have a # for Orlo Enterprises in Brampton, but no answer there.....I was reading on the Bullies In Need site and apparently they are not sold widely

They are also talking about another maker of muzzles Burgham which are very similar, I'm trying to find out more about them.

Your Mum lives not too far from Oakville, maybe she can pick you one up, if not I'm sure something can be worked out.

Ren's # is 905-257-4611.....The muzzles don't seem to be showing on their site

The dog muzzle store seem to carry the most extensive lines of muzzles I have come across they have them to fit every breed and the prices are quite fair. I have a friend who has one from them and the quality is excellent. This is where I am going to order for Clark. They have a great guide for measuring your dog. With pics makes it easy

Orlo Leather Muzzle

Hello!
I am desperately looking for this muzzle by Orlo (I believe it's called the 'Pooch Protector'). They seem to no longer be in business. Any chance someone has a second-hand one they don't need anymore, that I can purchase?
I want something breathable and comfortable for my sweet dog.
I haven't indicated a size as I am not sure on the sizing of these. But she is 30kg boxer/mix (with a longer snout).

Thanks so much.

fordogtrainers.com also has some really nice muzzles at decent prices. I've ordered from them before and have always been very happy, plus the muzzles are custom made to your dog's measurements.

RE the muzzle pictured above, I would put it on a friendly pit that needs to wear one because of BSL but I would NEVER use this muzzle on a dog who actually needs to wear a muzzle as a preventative for biting. I think the design of that muzzle from a function point of view is a joke.
