New here also
hi all, I'm Melinda, I've been lurking around here for about 3 weeks while I watched and waited for a puppy, I finally found one and we had our first vet check today, she's a 6 week old 3/4 lab 1/4 shephard. I'm the mom of two "adult" children, boy 19, daughter 20, and two pets, Timothy is a standard grey Chinchilla, and Brina (irish for strong) it the new pup. Hope to make some new friends in here *S*

hello Rita and Writing for fun, thanks for the welcome, I'd be glad to share pics...not sure if I downloaded the pic right...it could be too small..if so, well, I'll try try again! Brina is 6 weeks old and we'll be starting puppy school tomorrow night, June 15th...should be interesting *L*

Thanks Rita....she wasn't that cute the 6 times she woke us all up through the night *L* hard to see the computer screen through these bloodshot eyes.
Writing for fun, we bought Brina from a very nice couple in Ontario, they had a litter of 8 and both parents were on site for us to meet.
