I think my hearing dog who was a Standard Poodle was very smart. I was throwing a toy ball for him and he kept jumping up and putting his front legs out. I had no idea what he was trying to do . He was not catching the ball in his mouth ,after throwing the ball about four times Finlay jumped up and taught the ball with his paws and his eyes lite up and he was he was pleases with himself for catching his ball with his paws. I only wish I had a photo of this. I guess he thought using his mouth was too boring or easy.
And when we driving to the park Finlay would look over my shoulder if I took too long to start the car. Once I started the car he would lie down. Males can be so bossy some times . LOL! I guess you can tell I miss my dog terribly .

I found that show very interesting. I had no idea I could train my dog by doing what I want him to do myself and then he will copy me. Unfortunately my dog got bored and went upstairs before that part came on so he still doesn't know that. LOL

It was a good show. I hope others got a chance to see it.

I was reading a book called ' Your dog is your mirror' but I was not able to finish it. It was a library book and someone was waiting for it.
I tried to get Marty to pick up things with his mouth by doing it myself
but he thought I flipped my wig.
