Talking MY grand kitties

DD was playing with her camera and sent me some pics of my sweet Grand Kitties.

Pandora is a gentle, loving, social kitty that will greet anybody at the door.

What are you doing with that thing in my face?

And then there is Ginger, who I swore was only 4 weeks old when she got her .

Ginger has the EGC and has to be on vet food. As you may see, there are permanent scares on her face from scratching as we were trying to find a diet that would work for her and the only one that did was the hypoallergenic food.
It keeps her from having to get steroid shots.

She has amazing green eyes.

Beautiful kitties, they both have gorgeous eyes . Forgive my ignorance but, is Pandora a certain breed of cat? Her muzzle is very distinct (do we even refer to cats having muzzzles?)

Nope, no breed, they are both domestic short hairs.

I don't know what it is called on a cat

I think they call it a beauty mark L4H.. Each and every cat has their own beauty mark to distinguish them from each other. That's my take on it anyways.

Thanks Hazel. DD is a wonderful photographer. She got a new camera for Xmas, but not the one she really wants. She just can't afford it so it is on my radar for next year's present She wan't one that is easy to carry, but can change lenses on.

Beautiful kitties. It's nice to see Ginger. I know you got Pandora's pic at Christmas but I wasn't sure about Ginger. They are both very pretty kitties, in spite of a few scars. Your DD is a great photog.

Thank you 14+ . I'm not sure if it's the angle of the camera but Pandora's muzzle looks longer and pointier than cats I'm used to seeing. Very distinctive and pretty .

What is EGC?
It is Eosinophilic Granuloma complex (Ginger has rodent ulcer form), that causes extreme itching and sores due to allergies. Her's is from meat protein and we have not found a meat that she can eat, so she is on vet hypoallergenic food.

http://www.fabcats.org/owners/skin/e...ilic_granuloma.

If you right click on the picture icon and upload it you can get the picture to open. Pandora is a cutie. I think because of the white snout on the black her muzzle looks to be longer than a lot of kitties.
