HELP! My dog was hit by car tonight

Sorry I don't know where to posst this
I have been looking for information on pet cremation
MYm dog was hit by a car tonight .... he didn't make it .... the girls are crying and don't know what to do with him .... he is wrapped in a blanket and in a covered container ..... I have to do something with him tomorrow Does anyone know of a low cost place to have him cremated ... I am in the Surrey BC area

I'm sorry you've lost your furry friend this way

You can either bring him to your vet (or any local vet) for Private cremation if you wish the ashes back, they will also do non-private cremation if you do not wish the ashes back. Alternatively you can contact the local branch of the SPCA, they will do cremations but it's best to contact them first to see if they will do private ones if you wish.

I too am so sorry for your loss.

You can also google pet cemetery surrey B.C or pet cremation surrey B.C and see what that gives you. There are likely services that resemble the choices when humans pass away. Your vet might know of such services as well.

I just wanted to say sorry for your loss, my friend recently lost a dog this way and its such a shocking experience. My thoughts are with you and your family

So sorry to hear you lost your beloved dog in such a terrible way. I hope you are able to find a crematorium for him. When I lived on the Sunshine Coast and my friend's dog died, we brought him to the vet and the vet arranged for him to be cremated and the ashes to come back to us. I believe the cremation was done here on the Island somewhere.
