'new...me too'
I've posted a few times regarding 'feral cats' (trying to rescue...check out the misc. issues category if you have thoughts/advice etc.), but have been too distracted i.e. lazy to say "hi" until now. Soooo, hi to everyone.
I'm a bona fide critter slave; if I ever had a job that made me do the stuff I do for my gang, I'd quit in a minute! At present my partner and I do the bidding of Freyja,a mature [way too smart and sensitive for her own good] Border Collie/Australian Cattle DogX, a youngish Jack Russell gal called Sadie, and 3 housecats (THE dude, Odin-so-smart and cool our one-eyed humane society adoptee/touchy & gutsy & loveydovey Sally who was a stray/Goose the honking & bossy gal adopted from humane society after being hit by a car and recovering to the point where she just has a slight head tilt and bit of a lurch to her walk). We had older- i.e. 2 were 17-housecats cross the Rainbow Bridge last year, so a bit of heartbreak, along with many good memories. The feral cats are now keeping me busy. This board is a great idea...I spend too much time on a horse BB, finding some useful stuff re: my 'monster pet' horses (2 of them). I notice that a lot of newbies are asked for pics; I'll try to figure out how to do that! |
