Any1 know of where I can take Pet First Aid in Toronto???

Hi all. I'd love to look into taking a Pet First Aid course, but unfortunately I've not been having much luck in finding places that offer it. If any of you know of any (links would be great!) please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

How about this, we both peek around doing searches on the net, whoever finds something posts it back here okay !!

Re:

Thanks everyone for your help thus far!

I'm really suprised that there are so few that advertise Pet First Aid courses. There seems to be so many professionals that say they hold certificates, and yet these classes are proving difficult to find!

@Luba (and any1else interested)
Here are a few that I've found so far that do provide courses, although not that often.

www.tailblazers.ca
www.lifesruff.ca
www.treetops.on.ca/ (they are suppose to offer Toronto classes, but I can't find any Toronto- specific info. listed)

I'm still searching, although I'm beginning to think I've exhausted any search ideas.

Maybe ask your vet or one of the vet techs.

My daughter took a pet first aid and cpr course with "All About Dogs" the teachers name was Rene Devillier. Im pretty sure I spelt that wrong, it was around five years ago. I think she is still around though and had two locations in Toronto. Shannon really enjoyed it!

Thanks!

Sorry for the late response. My computer is in a location that my puny air conditioner doesn't reach, so I've been avoiding this room!

@NicInNc - Thanks for posting the link. The site seems really informative, and I'm sure I'll use it in the future as a reference tool - I've already bookmarked it!

@Melinda - I've tried contacting both the Red Cross and St. John's Ambulance but neither have replied back as of yet.

@babyrock1 - I've also emailed Renee but haven't received a response from her either.

@Luba - I'm going to go and try the link you last posted - can't remember if I've viewed that one or not.

Thanks again everyone!
