Discolouration of skin around eyes and lips

Hi members,

There is some discolouration all around baci's eyes and lips and it's fairly recent.

Every few months we are at the vet for a new problem....

We think this is likely an environmental allergy.....

any thoughts? Has anyone seen or had a similar or identical issue with one of their cats?

Many thx!

thanks BD

from your link, so far this seems close -

Vitiligo (decreased pigment) Can be hereditary or caused by an autoimmune reaction - Loss of pigment which may be temporary or permanent; usually on nose, lips, and face.

any other suggestions or input?

Would having a skin scraping help tell what is causing this to happen? I hope it's not painful .
