Careful when looking for an "animal behaviourist". I put that in quotations because some people claim to be a behaviourist, but they are not. It is not regulated and anyone can use that term.
I would look for a good trainer that has experience with dogs who have aggression issues and comes highly recommended. Ask for references and call all of them up. |

I have a great trainer, that I already gave her name and number to people on pets.ca. My vet suggested an "animal behavorlist" for her aggression. My vet didn't give me any references though.

You could always call them up and get the references from them directly and ask them what their qualifications are as well as their experiences. I've just heard that it is now the in-thing to say that they are animal behaviourists. You just have to be careful just like anything else.
